Abstract

RESUMOO artigo analisa as relações que se estabelecem, no Brasil, entre a pesquisa e o ensino de temas relativos às sociedades indígenas. Para isto reflete sobre o eurocentrismo presente nas concepções da historiografia tradicional, e sobre as crí-ticas que lhes são feitas atualmente. Por fim, avalia a repercussão da moderna agenda de pesquisa sobre este tema nas práticas escolares. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Nova História Indígena; Pesquisa; Ensino; Escola; Brasil.
