Application of Object-Oriented Simulation in Evolutionary Algorithms

Abstract: In paper two-level genetic and ant algorithms are proposed to optimize the functioning of the automated technological machining complex. For suggested genetic and unt algorithms it is designed the object-oriented simulation model, which allows to calculate the fitness function and evaluate potential solutions. The problem-oriented crossover, mutation and reproduction operators for two-level genetic algorithm are developed. The transition and calculation of the concentration for synthetic pheromone rules are de… Show more

“…While using the ant algorithm for multicriteria optimization, the central question is the construction of the objective function [11,12]. Recently, with the rapid development of evolutionary and population optimization methods, several approaches have been developed [13,14], one of which is the weighted sum method, the essence of which is to determine the weight of each criterion included in the objective function [15].…”

“…There is currently considerable experience in addressing the challenges of building a discrete type production schedule, which is represented in the works of both domestic and foreign experts [1][2][3][4][5]. However, with the increase in the degree of automation of industrial enterprises, there is a growing need for increasingly powerful intelligent systems for short-term production planning, especially for in-house planning to compile a detailed schedule for loading technological equipment in a real production environment.…”

“…As it was shown earlier, in the mass production, the quality of the technical characteristics of the EC is significantly dependent on technological errors in the production of the size parameters of the core. And the influence of each of the individual dimensional parameters on the characteristics is not the same, that is, it has an individual character [15].…”
