Aplicação de espectroscopias raman e infravermelho na identificação e quantificação de plastificantes em filmes comerciais de PVC esticável

Abstract: the use of Raman and infrared techniques for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of plasticizers in polyvinylchloride (PVC) commercial films. FT-Raman marker bands were indentified for di-2-ethyl-hexyl adipate (DEHA) and di-2-ethyl-hexyl phthalate (DEHP), allowing for the rapid identification of these species in the commercial film. Quantitative analysis by FT-IR resulted in plasticizers concentrations ranging from 11 to 27% (w/w). Considering the little sample preparation and the low cost of the techniq… Show more

“…The polymer PBAT presents benzene ring in his structure ( Figure 4) and in Raman spectra the bands corresponding to this group are at 630, 1041 and 1605 cm -1 , assigned to the vibrations of the aromatic ring [26] and at 3080 cm -1 attributed to carbon-hydrogen stretching of aromatic rings. The band characteristic of aromatic ring near 1600 cm -1 does not appear in the FTIR spectra (Figure 1), this kind of vibration is not detected by this technique probably due to the symmetrical character of the benzene ring present in the PBAT structure (Figure 4).…”

“…The exception was a peak at 3315 cm −1 , which was observed only in FT‐IR/ATR. Furthermore, in the region between 800 and 1100 cm −1 , the FT‐IR/RAMAN presented a better separation of the bands, probably because of the difference in the two techniques concerning the molecules present in the infrared sample, with an absorption process in FT‐IR /ATR and scattering process in FT‐IR/RAMAN …”

“…Bandas relativas a vibrações angulares -CH 2 -no plano podem ser observadas na região de 1.450 cm -1 . O pico 2.360 cm -1 , presente no espectro do grupo controle, refere-se a ligações do CO 2 retido no polímero durante o processo de fabricação do tubo 13,14 .
