Abstract: Neospora caninum (Apicomplexa, Sarcocystidae) é um protozoário de grande relevância para a bovinocultura por estar envolvido com problemas reprodutivos, sendo considerado um dos principais agentes determinantes de abortos em bovinos (Anderson et al., 1991).
