Acute endophthalmitis and hyphema mimicking pink hypopyon associated with ocular toxocariasis: A case report

“…Some reports have described cases of OT with positive anti-Toxocara IgG antibodies only in aqueous or vitreous samples but not in sera. 20 , 21 OT is caused by ingesting embryonated eggs from soil and water or by eating raw meat containing infective larvae. 2 It is uncertain whether eating undercooked meat five days prior to the clinical visit was responsible for the acute presentation of OT in the present case.…”
