The fact that no cases of endometritis were diagnosed in the analysis is not reflected in the findings of other studies, in which endometritis appears to be a fairly frequent cause of postpartum infection 33 . The reason for this might be that in the present group of patients there were 42 women with fever, but without any specific focus of infection.…”
