Anti-Xa Activity of Enoxaparin for Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism in Severe Nephrotic Syndrome—A Single Center Prospective Study

Abstract: Severe nephrotic syndrome (NS) is associated with high risk of venous thromboembolic events (VTE), as well as presumably altered heparin pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Although prophylactic anticoagulation is recommended, the optimal dose is not established.
