Abstract: • Analysing and presenting qualitative data is one of the most confusing aspects of qualitative research.• This paper provides a pragmatic approach using a form of thematic content analysis. Approaches to presenting qualitative data are also discussed.• The process of qualitative data analysis is labour intensive and time consuming.
