Introduction: The pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 has become a real hazard and affects many sectors, one of them is education. The high number of new cases has made several countries to implement lockdown and quarantine policies. This policy caused several schools and universities to be closed to break the chain of transmission. Besides, the indirect effect of COVID19 is the mental disorder of the society, including students, that is getting worse. Mental disorder has become a growing health problem and requires more attention. This study aimed to explore the risk factors affecting students’ mental disorder at the period of the COVID19 pandemic based on the previously performed research from published journals. Discussion: Of the 394 literature that has been searched in Pubmed and Science Direct, by entering the keywords of coronavirus, mental disorder, education, and universities, it obtained 7 articles in accordance with inclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria in this study included articles published in 2019 and 2020, articles categorized as original research articles, articles written in English, and articles discussed mental disorder in students since the COVID19 pandemic. The results of the study showed that in countries with quite high COVID19 cases, the risk factors affecting students’ health were news about new case rates, mortality rates, and COVID19 cure rates. Conclusion: Mental disorder disorders experienced by students during the pandemic were anxiety, stress, and depression. For further research, it is expected to provide recommendations for activities that can prevent students’ mental disorder to not worse during the pandemic.

In spite of the fact that mental health problems are increasingly prevalent among college students, they are often disinclination to seek help from formal psychological services. There is a lack of empirical studies focusing specifically on college students’ barriers to seeking psychological help in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the factors that prevent college students from seeking psychological help at formal psychology service providers. Participants in this study were 205 college students who were obtained using purposive sampling techniques. College students are given a Willingness to Seek Professional Counseling scale at Outside the University (WSPCO) to identify factors that prevent them from seeking psychological help. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that there were three main factors that make students reluctant to seek psychological help from providers such as the students who do not know which counseling services are good, students have family or friends who can help, and students feel that the problem is still not serious. By knowing these barriers, formal psychological services need to add information about the services, especially the place, forms of services, and professional that capable of mental health problems to meet the public’s understanding of formal psychological services. AbstrakTerlepas dari kenyataan bahwa masalah kesehatan mental semakin banyak terjadi di kalangan mahasiswa, mahasiswa sering enggan mencari bantuan psikologis pada penyedia layanan psikologi formal. Studi empiris yang berfokus pada hambatan mahasiswa untuk mencari bantuan psikologis di Indonesia masih jarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat mahasiswa untuk mencari bantuan psikologis pada penyedia layanan psikologi formal. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 205 mahasiswa yang didapatkan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Mahasiswa diberikan skala Willingness to Seek Professional Counseling Outside the University (WSPCO) untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang menghambat mahasiswa mencari bantuan psikologis pada penyedia layanan psikologi formal. Data yang telah didapat lalu dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa tiga faktor utama yang membuat mahasiswa enggan untuk mencari bantuan psikologis pada penyedia layanan psikologis formal adalah mahasiswa tidak tahu mana layanan konseling yang baik, mahasiswa memiliki keluarga atau teman yang dapat menolong, dan mahasiswa merasa selama ini masalah masih kurang serius. Dengan mengetahui faktor penghambat ini maka layanan psikologis formal perlu menambah informasi mengenai layanan khususnya tempat layanan, bentuk layanan, dan tenaga ahli yang dapat menangani masalah kesehatan mental untuk memenuhi pemahaman masyarakat atas bantuan layanan psikologis formal. The aim of this studies to know the relationship between gratitude, social support for the psychological well-being of persons with disabilities. Subjects in this study were persons with physical disabilities in Yogyakarta who were of productive years. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a subject of 56 people. The measurement of this study was done using questionnaire method. The results of data analysis was done using regression analysis technique of two predictors that there is a significant relationship between gratitude and social support for psychological wellbeing in persons with disabilities as indicated by R value of 0.415 and F regression of 17.764 with p <0.01. There is a significant positive relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being indicated by a significance value of 0.078 (p <0.05). Then a very significant positive relationship between social support and psychological wellbeing was indicated by a significance value of 0.708 (p> 0.05).
