Abstract: Objetivo: Analisar a prevalência de fatores de risco para as doenças cardiovasculares em crianças procedentes de escolas públicas em uma cidade do estado de Minas Gerais. Métodos: Trata-se de estudo transversal observacional com dados colhidos por exame clínico realizado em alunos de ambos os sexos do quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental de escolas públicas.
