An Overview of Traffic Characteristics and Vehicle Behavior Theory Research in Urban Earthquake Disaster Emergency Period

Abstract

Based on the systematic analysis of the characteristics of urban earthquake disasters, the influence of earthquake disasters in urban traffic system during an emergency period is considered. This paper uses the studied achievements of both the car-following and lane-change model at home and abroad, summarizing the status of the vehicle behavior model. Some suggestions are proposed for the establishment of a model on vehicle behavior in urban earthquake disaster emergency period. This article additionally offers basis for future research.
