“…' Contreras (1949) successfully employed ointments and pastes containing from 1% to 2% of podophyllin as a keratolytic and on exuberant granulation tissue. Garb (1950) found he was able to clear up or greatly improve the lesions of amyloidosis cutis in a case of twenty years' duration which had not responded to X-radiation. He had presented the same case previously before the Bronx Bermatological Society in 1948 as having been improved with podophyllin therapy.…”
