El presente artículo se centra en la inmigración polaca en Argentina en el periodo de entreguerras. Por un lado, analiza la política inmigratoria argentina de esta época, poniendo especial énfasis en cómo los diferentes mecanismos de control y las sucesivas medidas restrictivas afectaron a los inmigrantes polacos. Por otro lado, examina la política emigratoria de Polonia en la década de los años veinte y treinta, centrándose en los proyectos desarrollados para fomentar las salidas del país con destino al puerto de Buenos Aires y en las medidas tomadas para promover la emigración de las minorías étnicas, principalmente la judía y la ucraniana.
