Introdução e objetivo: Na sala de admissão, sala operatória ou sala de recuperação, o enfermeiro pode e deve aprimorar suas práticas e utilizar as tecnologias disponíveis para o cuidado com segurança. Técnicas de imagem são complementares ao exame físico e favorecem com acurácia diagnóstica o trabalho do enfermeiro. Entre os métodos de imagens disponíveis a ultrassonografia (USG) é bem aceita e incorporada às diversas áreas da saúde, por ser um recurso não invasivo, compacto e de baixo custo. O presente protocolo tem por objetivo identificar na literatura científica aplicações para o uso da ultrassonografia por enfermeiros no bloco operatório. Métodos e Análise: Protocolo de revisão de escopo de acordo com a metodologia proposta pelo manual do Instituto JBI, a ser realizada para responder à pergunta Quais os possíveis usos da ultrassonografia por enfermeiros do bloco operatório? Os artigos serão buscados nas principais bases internacionais de literatura científica e cinzenta. Os descritores utilizados serão ultrassonografia e centros cirúrgicos. A pesquisa se orientará pelo acrônimo P-C-C: P – Participantes: Equipe de Enfermagem do Centro Cirúrgico; C – Conceito: Ultrassonografia; C - Contexto: Centro Cirúrgico. Será utilizada a ferramenta SUMARI-JBI. Espera-se que a apresentação destes resultados possa contribuir para disseminação e estímulo de práticas avançadas de Enfermagem no centro cirúrgico com o uso da ultrassonografia.
