Como pouco se conhece sobre as espécies de Tabanidae em áreas adjacentes de mata primária e clareira antrópica, são discutidos dados de sazonalidade, abundância, diversidade e similaridade da família com base nas espécies coletadas, nos estratos (solo, lâmina d'água de igarapé e a 25 m de altura), por meio da captura com armadilhas de interceptação de vôo e de atração, contribuindo para o conhecimento das populações de Tabanidae na Amazônia Central.…”
