Abstract:Acne (also known as acne vulgaris) is one of the most common inflammatory dermatoses seen globally. It can result in significant and indelible scarring and pigment change as well as profound psychosocial issues as a result of clinically active acne and resulting sequelae. This chapter covers the numerous clinical presentations and associations of acne and considers optimum management regimes for all.
