Abstract: The psychometric properties of a new measure of foster parents' openness towards participating in activities that promote children's cultural development are evaluated. The measure is called the Cultural Receptivity in Fostering Scale (CRFS). Data from 304 foster mothers who completed the CRFS and a battery of measures on psychosocial functioning are analysed.
