About need of calculations for the steel framework building in temperature influences conditions

Abstract: In the article a technique of studying technical condition for steel structures that were damaged by high temperature impact, as well as a climatic effects on building structures due to the difference in ambient temperatures is described. Based on obtained data, there was made a conclusion about technical condition of the structures and possibility or inability to restore their serviceability by repair, reinforcement or replacement. There were conducted a comparative analysis of the results of experimental stu… Show more

“…Issues related to the STF of fires in actual premises are neither considered nor resolved. These methods make it possible to describe a deterministic change in the parameters of the environment, taking into consideration the characteristics of premises over time [11]. That means that such IF methods are intended only for modeling fires in specific premises at the stage of planning fire prevention measures and cannot be used for the purpose of operational IF STF under actual conditions.…”

“…The efficiency of the developed method (3) was tested on the example of actual AAP concentrations. Typical gaseous AAPs from vehicles [47], fires [48], and accidents at high-risk facilities [49] were considered as the main pollutants. The concentrations of gaseous pollutants were measured at a specific point in the city.…”

“…To test the proposed method, we measured the concentration of three pollutants at the predefined point of control within actual urban infrastructure whose air pollution level was about 37 units based on the AQI scale (USA). When choosing the type of experimental pollutants, we took into consideration the sources of pollution characteristic of urban infrastructure, caused by motor vehicles [26], fires [27,28], and industrial enterprises [29]. In addition, the relation between pollutants and acid rain and the poisoning of aquifers was taken into consideration [30].…”
