Abelian Solitons in the Noncommutative Ward Model

Abstract

A brief summary on aspects of abelian solitons in a noncommutative modified sigma model is given. After a brief exposition of the known solutions to this noncommutative Ward model, results on the stability of the static solutions and on the applicability of the adiabatic approach are presented.
