A Wide-Adjustable Sensorless IPMSM Speed Drive Based on Current Deviation Detection under Space-Vector Modulation

Abstract: This paper investigates the implementation of a wide-adjustable sensorless interior permanent magnet synchronous motor drive based on current deviation detection under space-vector modulation. A hybrid method that includes a zero voltage vector current deviation and an active voltage vector current deviation under space-vector pulse-width modulation is proposed to determine the rotor position. In addition, the linear transition algorithm between the two current deviation methods is investigated to obtain smoot… Show more

“…Current and pressure also change with Pk. The speed of cutting motor is controlled by SVPWM as shown in Figure 9 [25,26]. As shown in Figure 10, the motor reaches the rated speed at about 0.6 s. The cutting speed decreases from 1485 r/min to 1406 r/min when the time reaches 0.7 s. The cutting head speed decreases to 1215 r/min when the hardness of coal and rock changes again.…”

“…In addition, the backstepping control could reduce nonlinear uncertaintyeffects. Mubarok et al [9] implemented a wide-adjustable sensorless IPMSM speed drive system based on current deviation detection under spacevector modulation. By using the proposed method, the IPMSM motor could be operated from 0 r/min to 3000 r/min.…”

“…If the switching takes place drastically, chattering may occur. It can be prevented by using a speed-dependent hysteresis changeover [13][14][15][16]. Furthermore, it is better to employ a speed-dependent gain for the smooth transition.…”
