A torque ripple suppression technique for brushless DC motor based on PFC buck converter

Abstract: Abstract:The brushless dc motor (BLDCM) suffers the prominent drawback of torque ripple, a novel hybrid control strategy based on dc link voltage control and fuzzy PID controller is proposed to suppress torque ripple of BLDCM. The circuit topology contains a power factor correction (PFC) buck converter and a inverter.
