Abstract: The authors show how to use symbolic computing methods to obtain an analytic representation of the solution of Laplace's equation (in R 2 or R3) satisfying boundary conditions of a very general type, viz., involving conditions of Dirichlet, Neumann and Robin's type on disjoint subsets of the boundary of the solution domain.
