A survey on fractal dimension for fractal structures

Abstract: Along the years, the foundations of Fractal Geometry have received contributions starting from mathematicians like Cantor, Peano, Hilbert, Hausdorff, Carathéodory, Sierpiński, and Besicovitch, to quote some of them.
