A study on Sewage Treatment and Disposal in Delhi

Abstract: Delhi, which is the capital of India and also the fastest growing metropolitan city, does not have adequate sewage treatment and disposal infrastructure. In most of the cases wastewater is let out untreated and it either seeps into the ground as a potential pollutant of groundwater or is discharged into the natural drainage system causing pollution in downstream areas.
