The implantation of radio implant medical devices (IMD) into the human body are becoming smaller, therefore and because to the high degree of miniaturization and an efficient wireless link, antennas extremely small, which satisfies gain, bandwidth, impedance, and low cost are demanded. This work proposes a wide bandwidth ranging from 12 GHz to 18 GHz Microstrip Patch Antenna, describing the design, simulation, implementation and measurement, in order to be used on the IMD's.
