Abstract: An apparatus based on electrophoresis has been devised that removes noncovalently bound polysaccharides from extracellular proteins of Aspergillus niger with concomitant partial beta-glucosidase purification and concentration. The apparatus consists of a series of three chambers separated by polyacrylamide gels.
