Abstract:A series of red fluorescent dyes were synthesized using 3-N,N-diethylaminophenol. Their structures were characterized by 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, IR and HRMS. The optical properties of these dyes were detected. Bovine serum albumin was labeled by new dyes. The fluorescence signal values of these dyes and cyanine-3 (Cy3) in lectin microarrays were compared. The results show that the maximum emission wavelengths of these dyes are above 600 nm and the Stokes shifts are about 70 nm. The dye/protein (D/P) labeling effici… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
