Abstract: diascleral transillumination. Examination with fluorescein angiography of the i r i s i s in p r o g r e s s . 35 patients were examined. In these examinations we have found that patients with keratoconus very frequently shows a n apparent hypoplasia of the i r i s s t r o m a . In most c a s e s a diffuse stromal rarefaction w a s seen, the sculpturing of the i r i s was flattened and poorly marked, especially in the area peripheral to the collarette.
