With regard to the control of tsetse vectors that transmit trypanasomiasis, one of such control strategies is to eliminate or minimize the fly-to-man, or fly-to-host contact by creating a protective barrier in which a control scheme is employed to prevent the spatial progression of trypanosomiasis (Matzke, 1983;Bourn et al, 1994;WHO, 2017).
