A Pilot Study Investigating the Relationship Between Diet and Oxidative Stress in Infants Receiving Therapy for Acute Leukemia

Abstract: 4228 Pediatric leukemia patients undergoing treatment are often malnourished due to nausea, food aversions, and mucositis. Clinical observations suggest that poor nutrition worsens outcomes for this patient population. Oxidative stress may be a key intermediary linking nutrition and clinical outcomes.
