“…With our research and literature contributions on this subject, we can say that although PDA is sometimes incorrectly described as a disease, it must be borne in mind that it can close without the need for medical treatment, and we believe it should be stressed that the drugs used for PDA closure are not entirely harmless. The scoring systems used for PDA management in recent years are an indicator that PDA can close on its own without the need for medication, especially in mild cases (El‐Khuffash et al, 2021).
