Abstract: Background The combination of vorinostat, idarubicin and cytarabine (IA+vorinostat) is associated with high response rate in patients with newly diagnosed acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) or higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) (JCO 2012;30:2204).
