A novel adaptive event‐triggering scheme for network descriptor systems with time‐delay

Abstract: This article is concerned with the problem of the event-triggered H ∞ control for network descriptor systems with time-delay under a novel adaptive event-triggering scheme. First, to save more limited communication resource, a novel adaptive event-triggering scheme is introduced to adaptively adjust the communication threshold. Second, by considering the network-induced delay, the system's time-varying delay, and the transmission scheme, a delay system method is used to build a novel time-varying delay system … Show more

“…This paper's technique has been categorized into delay-dependent and continuous time. According to the nature of water, the communication bandwidth is low (Wang et al, 2020), so there is a nonhomogeneous variable time delay between the AUV and the human control station. It is important to mention that total delay includes other nonhomogeneous sources of delay such as the actuator delay, human control delay, gyro compass delay, sensor delay and propeller delay, etc.…”

“…Delay systems are proposed for this series of issues. Many effective methods for analyzing the delay systems are developed, such as the new type of augmented Lyapunov functional stability analysis with less conservatism for linear discrete‐time systems and the multibound dependent stability analysis with less computation for nonlinear systems and so on 5‐7 . As a basic type of the time delay systems, the state delay has been studied in more depth from researchers, which possesses different characteristics.…”

“…Many effective methods for analyzing the delay systems are developed, such as the new type of augmented Lyapunov functional stability analysis with less conservatism for linear discrete-time systems and the multibound dependent stability analysis with less computation for nonlinear systems and so on. [5][6][7] As a basic type of the time delay systems, the state delay has been studied in more depth from researchers, which possesses different characteristics. For example, the earlier constant model and the Bernoulli delay model took limited possible values, which are straightforward but insufficient in describing the random property of the delay.…”

“…Recently, many works on the stability, state estimation and H control of NCSs with data packet dropouts, communication delays, and/or packet disordering have been reported in the previous literature (e.g., see References 1‐14 and references therein). It should be pointed out that those works only considered the case of deterministic systems.…”
