Abstract: A new extracardiac method of annuloplasty for tricuspid insufficiency was performed on cadavers and in dogs. This procedure effectively produced valvular ring cerclage without causing any decrease in right coronary arterial blood flow. In the animal model, using this approach experimental tricuspid stenosis was successfully attempted. The details of the procedure are reported in this article.
