Abstract: AbstractA new methodology to take into account differential diffusion in numerical simulations of reactive flows is presented. Within this new method, the diffusion term in the transport equations of the conserved scalars consists of two parts, one expressing the diffusion between the conserved scalars and one expressing the feedback from the combustion model.
