Abstract:The North American family Oxycarenidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Lygaeoidea) includes only 15 native species in the genera Crophius Stål ( 7), Dycoderus Uhler (1), Mayana Distant (3), Neaplax Slater (2), and Neocrophius Henry and Dellapé (2) (Henry et al. 2015, Scudder 2016, Dellapé and Henry 2022) and three adventive Old World species.
