Abstract: A new turbulence model based on k-ε model is proposed to analyze liquid metal magnetohydrodynamic flows. The feature of the proposed model lies in introducing the additional terms in k-and ε-equations, which take into account the fluctuating electromagnetic force. The proposed turbulence model is verified by comparing some numerical results obtained with the model and existing experimental data of mercury flow in a circular pipe and a rectangular duct.
