A indústria de transformação da mesorregião do Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba: evidências empíricas no período 2006 – 2015

Abstract

ResumoO objetivo deste estudo é caracterizar a indústria de transformação da mesorregião do Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba (TMAP), no estado de Minas Gerais. A trajetória econômica dessa mesorregião, localizada entre a capital brasileira e o principal centro da economia do país, está em grande medida atrelada à ocupação do cerrado para a produção de alimentos. Todavia, ao longo dos anos a estrutura produtiva dessa mesorregião se desenvolveu, de modo que, até mesmo em vista do peso importante que a agropecuária tem em sua economia, o setor industrial foi ganhando espaço relevante no TMAP, a partir de uma intersecção dinâmica entre os dois setores. Para dar conta da caracterização da indústria do TMAP, do ponto de vista metodológico, este estudo se apoia em pesquisa bibliográfica e análise de dados secundários oriundos da Relação Anual de Informações Sociais (RAIS). The processing industry of the mesoregion of Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba: empirical evidences in the period 2006 -2015 AbstractThe aim of this study is to characterize the manufacturing industry of the mesoregion of Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba (TMAP), in the State of Minas Gerais. The economic trajectory of this region, located between the Brazilian capital and the main center of the country's economy is to a large extent linked to the occupation of the Savannah for food production. However, over the years the productive structure of the mesoregion has developed, in a way that, even due to the important weight of agriculture in its economy, the industrial sector has been gaining relevant space in TMAP, by means of a dynamic intersection between the two sectors. In order to provide the characterization of TMAP industry, in terms of methodology, this study is based on bibliographical research and analysis of secondary data collection deriving from Annual Relation of Social Information (RAIS).

Public perception of COVID-19 in the Triângulo Mineiro region, Minas Gerais state, Brazil: a cross-sectional survey
