Abstract: THE INITIAL GOALS in the development of a motion detector were to produce a completed assembly capable of sensing motion at a minimum distance of 8' within a 2' surveillance diameter.Upon sensing motion, an alarm was to be sounded for a given time after which the system must automatically reset.
