Abstract: Ver información de revista ResumenThis paper presents the development of the robotic multi-agent system SMART. In this system, the agent concept is applied to both hardware and software entities. Hardware agents are robots, with three and four legs, and an IP-camera that takes images of the scene where the cooperative task is carried out. Hardware agents strongly cooperate with software agents. These latter agents can be classified into image processing, communications, task management and decision making, plan… Show more

“…Designing intelligent agent‐based systems represents very important research directions for efficient solving of a large variety of problems. Intelligent agent‐based systems are used for many problem‐solving . There are many intelligent computing systems that are agent‐based intelligent systems based on their properties but are not called agent‐based systems.…”

“…Intelligent agent-based systems are used for many difficult problem-solving. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] In many studies, the agent-based systems' intelligence is established based on some intuitive considerations that are frequently related to the intelligence (learning and adaptation) of biological life forms (humans, animals, and swarms of insects). The intelligence estimation based on some intuitive intelligence considerations, as is realized in most of the studies, is not enough.…”

“…Proposals dealing with mathematical formalisms to represent agents' internal state are found in Ferber and Müller, 4 Yu and Cai, 5 Bos and De Weerdt, 6 Bosse et al, 7 Fregene and Kennedy, 8 Cena et al, 11 Liu,12 Ou-Yang and Winarjo, 13 Kwon, 14 Coleri et al, 15 Negenborn et al, 16 and Cil and Mala. 17 The formalism presented by Ferber and Müller 4 introduces its own abstract machines.…”

“…17 The formalism presented by Ferber and Müller 4 introduces its own abstract machines. Yu and Cai, 5 Cena et al, 11 Liu,12 Ou-Yang and Winarjo, 13 and Kwon 14 use the formalism of Petri nets; several kinds of models are considered in these works: discrete, possibilistic, work-flow, and colored Petri nets. The advantages of using a proprietary formalism is that they can be more suitable to the problem; whilst using Petri nets it is necessary to extend and adapt the formalism despite taking advantage of existing analysis techniques.…”

“…Indeed, several researchers have used multiagent system in the development of robotic system [4]. Multiagent system is very useful in the case of multirobots which execute different tasks, which should be coordinated with each other [5].…”
