A comparative analysis of bolus dose of dexmedetomidine and fentanyl in attenuating haemodynamic stress responses following laryngoscopy and intubation

Abstract: Background: Laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation lead to tachycardia and hypertension due to increase in the plasma concentration of catecholamines subsequent to sympathetic stimulation.
