Abstract:Frailty is a clinical geriatric syndrome where loss of physical resiliency increases vulnerability to external stressors. Frailty is predictive of many adverse health outcomes. Frailty exists across a spectrum where prefrailty is an intermediary, subclinical state of frailty.
