“…The TiNi alloys have received considerable attention in the medical sector for use as stents, guide wires of catheters, orthodontic wires, etc [1]. The capability of TiNi alloys to recover their initial form after deformation by up to 10% provides significant advantages during a variety of medical treatments, for example, using recoverable deformation in a customised compressive attachment of bone fragments such as small bone fragments, broken jaws, cranial fractures which can be easily performed [7]. Coupling the material with the binary alloy having a young modulus of 77 Gpa which is closer to that of bone (10-30 GPa) as compared to other biomaterials makes it a key player in biomedical application [2].…”
