Abstract: Introduction Combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy increases long term survival in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. However, radiotherapy of the carotid sinus or brain stem can evolve labile hypertension and orthostatic intolerance from chronic baroreflex failure. Diabetes would also cause this neuropathy.
