3-Benzylidene-8-methoxy-6-(prop-1-enyl)chroman-4-one

Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 150 K; mean (C-C) = 0.005 Å; R factor = 0.068; wR factor = 0.183; data-to-parameter ratio = 15.1.In the title compound, C 20 H 18 O 3 , the phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 50.41 (10) with the benzene ring of the chromanone unit. The molecular structure is stabilized by weak intramolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions and the crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions.
