“…Compared with before the pandemic, older adolescents reported significant delays in bedtime (sleep latency), longer sleep duration, and significant difficulty falling asleep ( p < 0.001) during the pandemic (Illingworth et al, 2022 ). Another cross‐sectional study that included 305 Brazilian adolescents with chronic health conditions (mean age 14 years) and 82 healthy adolescents (mean age 15 years) used the PSQI to estimate sleep quality; both groups reported poor sleep (PSQI score > 5 in 38% and 48%, respectively) (Helito et al, 2021 ). Similar to our findings, the highest mean scores were for sleep latency and sleep disturbance in both groups of adolescents (Helito et al, 2021 ).…”
