Synthesis and characterization of tetralones as intermediates for podophyllotoxin analogues

Abstract: Podophyllotoxin has captured the attention of chemists all over the world for its biological activity. It was isolated from many plants of Podophyllum species such as Podophyllum emodi, Podophyllum peltatum and others.
