Mood or energy/activity symptoms in bipolar mania: which are the most informative?

Abstract: Introduction: Bipolar disorder (BD) in DSM-III and DSM-IV is classified as a mood disorder and requires the presence of a mood change, i.e., euphoria or irritability.
