The reformulation of the CNRM collegiate, assuming the surgeon Rosane Leite de Melo as executive secretary, accepted the SBCCV’s arguments, approving the direct access program excluding the prerequisite of general surgery and establishing five years for completion of the residency in the specialty [ 12 ] .
