To verify the association between sociodemographic, academic background, professional performance, bibliographic production and training of human resources factors with the H Index of CNPq scientific productivity researchers in the field of Physical Education. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 94 researchers with scientific productivity grants (PQ) in the field of Physical Education in Brazil distributed into academic prestige level: PQ 1A-1D (n = 41) and PQ 2 (n = 53). For this, the H Index of these researchers was analyzed in the Scopus database. Related factors were sociodemographic, academic background, professional performance, bibliographic production, and training of human resources (student supervisor). Simple and multiple linear regression was used with a 5% significance level. Results: The H Index, number of citations, number of scientific articles in the last 10 years, number of books in the last 10 years, and the training of students at graduate levels of PQ 1A-1D was higher than that of PQ 2 (p <0.05). The H Index of PQ 1A-1D scholarship researchers was directly related to the number of scientific articles [H index = 8.48 + 0.11 * (Articles)]. The H index of PQ 2 scholarship researchers was directly related to the number of scientific articles and academic books and, inversely to the student supervision at master level [H index = 15.19 + 0.06 * (Articles) + 2.45 * (Books)-0.34 * (Masters)]. Conclusion: H Index of researchers in the field of Physical Education in Brazil varied according to the academic recognition level.

The purpose of this article is to explore the possibilities of constructing performance indicators for the Faculty of Law (FL) at the University of São Paulo (USP), aiming to use them as instruments capable of institutional evaluation and as metrics capable of national and international comparisons, looking to strengthen their reputation. The construction of qualitative research indicators for law courses takes into account that objectives and results in graduate and postgraduate courses are diverse, and that there are different actors involved in these processes. Moreover, for intellectual production as well as articles and books, there are various extension activities expressed in sentences, decisions, judgments, and drafting of legislation—of huge social impact—which are not taken into account by performance analyses. Finally, it must be borne in mind that Faculties of Law were traditionally created to operate within national systems.

O Terceiro Setor, incluindo as fundações de apoio, desempenha um papel crucial ao complementar o setor público, oferecendo suporte financeiro e administrativo às Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior (IFES) para projetos de pesquisa, ensino e extensão. O estudo investigou o desempenho da Fundação FADEX na captação e administração de recursos para a Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI). A metodologia empregada neste estudo teve uma abordagem descritiva, envolvendo a análise de conteúdo contido nos Relatórios de Atividades do período de 2018 a 2022, juntamente com documentos internos da FADEX e UFPI. Os resultados destacaram um aumento nas parcerias e recursos gerenciados pela FADEX, majoritariamente provenientes de fontes públicas de financiamento. A quantidade de projetos sob sua gestão continuou a crescer, demonstrando uma colaboração crescente com outros setores públicos. No entanto, a FADEX precisa aprimorar sua captação de recursos financeiros e a detalhamento de relatórios de gestão e contratos para melhor identificar as fontes de recursos e sua alocação específica em áreas como ensino, pesquisa, extensão, desenvolvimento institucional, inovação tecnológica e empreendedorismo, visando melhorar sua eficiência no apoio à UFPI. Abstract: The Third Sector, including supporting foundations, develops a crucial role in complementing the public sector, offering financial and administrative support to Federal Higher Education Institutions (IFES) for research, teaching and extension projects. The study investigated the performance of the FADEX Foundation in raising and managing resources for the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). The methodology used in this study had a descriptive approach, involving the analysis of content contained in the Activity Reports for the period from 2018 to 2022, together with internal documents from FADEX and UFPI. The results highlighted an increase in partnerships and resources managed by FADEX, mostly coming from public funding sources. The number of projects under his management continued to grow, demonstrating growing collaboration with other public sectors. However, FADEX needs to improve its fundraising and the detailing of management reports and contracts to better identify sources of resources and their specific allocation in areas such as teaching, research, extension, institutional development, technological innovation and entrepreneurship, aiming to improve its efficiency in supporting UFPI.
